World Book Day was recently celebrated, a date that commemorates two great writers, Miguel de Cervantes and William Shakespeare. This celebration has given us the idea of holding a writing contest. We have wandered around to find a theme and, finally, we have decided that it would be ideal to deal with Ronda Romántica.
Now, with that you could write something focused on any aspect of the time that is celebrated during the festival in May or something more current. So it’s a pretty broad topic with a lot of possibilities.
You have to write something in English, with originality, with a good argument, that is coherent, well presented and with good use of English. (We will take into account the age of the participants).
There are two ways to do it, first, write directly in English or write in Spanish and then translate it. If you choose the second option, be careful with the Google translator and others. The jury is an expert in detecting texts translated by computer. Come on, don’t strain. Also, it’s a nice challenge.
